PA State Budget Proposal

Governor Rendell released his proposal for the FY 08-09 Pennsylvania State Budget in early February. It was another good year for early childhood education – with increases proposed for Pre-K Counts, and important child care initiatives such as Keystone STARS and Child Care Works. Early Childhood Action Day – May 13, 2008

Join hundreds of early childhood practitioners as we rally at the State Capitol in Harrisburg on May 13, 2008 to show our support to the Pennsylvania legislature for increased early childhood education investments. The day begins with an orientation and then visits to legislators by constituent groups.
