The best way to connect with others in the early childhood field is to join the Delaware Valley Association for the Education of Young Children (DVAEYC). DVAEYC is a local affiliate of the National Association for the Education of Young Children, the largest early childhood professional membership organization in the United States.

With over 1700 members, DVAEYC is an organization driven by the needs and interests of its members. DVAEYC offer’s a variety of membership benefits including professional development opportunities for early childhood professionals, membership meetings, workshops, trips, a bi-monthly newsletter – Connection, an annual conference and six issues of the NAEYC journal – Young Children. DVAEYC sponsors member-led advocacy and organizing work to make our early care and education system more responsive to the need of the children and families we serve.

DVAEYC members include school teachers, child care providers, Headstart staff, early intervention specialists, college and university faculty and students and many more.
