DVAEYC provides technical assistance and professional development to early childhood programs seeking to improve the quality of their services.  Our mission is to see every child in a high quality program.

Since 1995, DVAEYC has assisted over 150 child care centers and family child care homes in reaching NAEYC and NAFCC accreditation standards.  DVAEYC also provides technical assistance to programs participating in the PA Keystone STARS quality initiative.

Our dynamic Quality Improvement Coordinators work with programs to design plans to reach best practice in early childhood education. DVAEYC staff and volunteers serve on regional and state advisory committees that are involved in the design and development of Pennsylvania’s early care and education professional development system.  To learn more about specific programs and services, click on the topics below:
