NAEYC Accreditation Support
Family Child
Care Accreditation Program With support
from the Pew Charitable Trust and other local foundations, DVAEYC is
able to convene a family child care accreditation support project. The
project offers family and group child care practitioners professional
development, technical assistance for Keystone STARS and technical
support to achieve national accreditation through the National
Association of Family Child Care (NAFCC). Being accredited is an
indicator for children, parents, employers and communities that family
child care homes offer safe, nurturing and educational experiences that
meet the needs of individual children.
